Bajaj Chetak EV catches fire for first time in Maharashtra Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar

For the first time, an incident of fire in Bajaj Chetak electric scooter has come to light in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. A video is going viral on microblogging site X, in which Bajaj Chetak EV is lying on the ground and smoke is coming out of it. However, after some time the fire brigade team arrived and extinguished the fire of the electric scooter. In the video, this incident has been described as near the High Court in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The caption in the video reads, “Once you start selling in large numbers, such incidents will start happening! According to the video, the incident took place on Thursday at a busy traffic signal on Jalna Road, where smoke billowed from the Bajaj Chetak electric scooter. An official said the fire brigade sent a team to extinguish the smoke. Bhagwan Chavan and Ravindra Chavan, two farmers of Varavandi village, had come to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to buy water pipes. While they were waiting at the signal, they noticed that smoke had started coming out of their e-scooter. First the e-scooter was taken aside and the fire brigade team from Seven Hills Fire Station was called. The fire brigade team sprinkled water on the e-scooter and the smoke stopped. However, no person was injured in this incident.
