Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has released the first teaser of its first upcoming electric scooter. The teaser only glimpses the headlight of the e-scooter, which seems to be different from the existing petrol Honda Activa as well as the recently announced Honda CUV e for the European market.
There is no clarity yet about the specifications of Honda Activa Electric. However, it is being speculated that it will come with modern design language. The LED headlamps shown in the teaser also hint at this style. Considering the competition, we expect the upcoming Honda electric scooter to also get a digital instrument console equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, which will be equipped with features like calling, navigation, music controls etc.
Apart from this, we also expect it to get a larger battery pack and fast charging. Looking at the company’s electric scooter model, the CUV e, launched for the global market, the Activa Electric is likely to get a range of 100 km, which means it could be equipped with a battery pack of around 3-4 kWh.
