India Mobile Congress: What will be the announcements
India Mobile Congress: This time this event is being organized with the theme The Future is Now. It is likely to showcase 5G use cases from telcos, apart from announcements related to cloud and edge computing, IoT, semiconductor, cybersecurity, green tech, satcom and electronics.
This event is being organized at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, which starts at 10 am. Today PM Modi will also inaugurate the World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA) 2024, which is being organized by the International Telecommunication Union for the first time in India as well as Asia-Pacific. The World Telecommunications Standardization Assembly (WTSA) conference is held at an interval of 4 years. The recommendations and proposals in the WTSA set the direction for the development of communications technology.
IMC 2024 is expected to see participation from over 400 exhibitors, around 900 startups and over 120 countries. Let us tell you that more than 230 exhibitors were registered in IMC 2023, including more than 400 startups from 67 countries. The annual India Mobile Congress (IMC) this time has almost doubled from last year in terms of participation from other countries, exhibitors, startups etc.
