Mahindra Celebrate Christmas With BE 6 XEV 9E Party Mode Shared Video

Mahindra recently introduced the BE 6 and XEV 9E electric SUVs. Both EVs come with a special Party Mode, which synchronizes colorful LED lights with music, similar to the Party Mode that comes in Tesla EVs. The automobile giant celebrated Christmas with this feature of its electric SUVs and shared this unique celebration with the world through a video. The company built a Christmas tree using 23 electric vehicles and showcased the party mode with the popular jingle bell music.

Sharing a video of a BE 6 and XEV 9E on X, Mahindra wished everyone a Merry Christmas. A Christmas tree was created with a total of 23 units of both the SUVs at the Mahindra SUV Proving Track (MSPT) in Chennai. After this, the party mode feature of these SUVs was started, which synchronizes the LED lights of the electric car with music. At the end, jingle bell music was played and all these SUVs in different colors were seen sparkling with the music.

Party Mode on Mahindra BE 6 and It looks like a light show. In this party mode, the special light film present on the sunroof of the car and the ambient light present in the interior are also synchronized.

Let us tell you that BE 6 was earlier introduced with the model name BE 6E, but after the launch, Indigo filed a trademark dispute. InterGlobe Aviation, which runs IndiGo airline, had claimed the ‘6e’ trademark as its own. Due to this, Mahindra changed the name of the electric car to BE 6.

Mahindra BE 6e comes with 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery pack options, which combined with the electric motor generate 231 PS and 286 PS power and 380 Nm peak torque respectively. It has rear-wheel drive. Its 59 kWh battery pack claims to give a range of 535 km and the 79 kWh pack claims to give a range of 682 km.

Mahindra offers 7.2 kW and 11 kW AC charger options. The lower capacity charger takes 8.7 hours and 11.7 hours respectively to charge the 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs from zero to 100%. At the same time, with 11 kW charger, it will take 6 and 8 hours respectively to fully charge them.

The starting ex-showroom price of Mahindra BE 6e is Rs 18.9 lakh. This is an introductory price, which may increase in the future.
