What is Microsoft Edge security flaw?
According to the CERT-In bulletin released on October 7, these flaws have occurred due to lack of data verification in Microsoft, wrong implementation in V8 and integer overflow in the layout. A remote hacker can easily take advantage of these vulnerabilities through specially crafted requests on any system. Due to these flaws, a remote hacker can easily bypass security and gain access to any system as per his wish. Edge users need to be very careful about what they open or not on their systems.
Which systems will be affected
If you are using a Chromium-based version of Microsoft Edge earlier than 129.0.2792.79, you will need to immediately update to the new security build. Edge became very popular this year due to Copilot AI integration. The use of the browser is increasing significantly, making it an easy target for hackers. Now click on About Microsoft Edge.
Now you have to update to the latest version.
After that you have to restart the browser.
After doing this, Edge browser will be secured on your system.
