OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R 5G Start Getting OxygenOS 15 Open Beta Update in India

OxygenOS 15 open beta updates are available in the country for two smartphones of OnePlus, one of the big smartphone companies. These are the first smartphones in OnePlus’ entire portfolio to get the Android 15 based operating system (OS) update. The new OS update will bring better user interface, Artificial Intelligence (AI) features and faster processing. It will also integrate new Android security features like Google Play Protect’s line threat detection and theft protection.

The company has said in a community post that this open beta update has been introduced only for users in India. With this, users will get the experience of the new OS. Along with this, OnePlus has said that due to this being an open beta version, some features may not be available immediately. The OxygenOS 15 update will bring faster performance, better user interface design and AI features. Along with this, Gemini AI Assistant and Default Virtual Assistant will also be available for compatible handsets with this update.

OnePlus’s second foldable smart fone OnePlus Open 2 can also be launched soon. This smartphone may have support for wireless charging. It will replace the OnePlus Open introduced last year. OnePlus Open was launched in China as Oppo Find N3. Tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked the specifications of OnePlus Open 2 in a post on Chinese messaging platform Weibo. It may have a larger screen than OnePlus Open. This smartphone can have a 5,700 mAh battery with support for wireless charging. OnePlus Open had a 4,805 mAh battery.

Snapdragon 8 Elite can be given as processor in this foldable smartphone. It may have a customized USB Type-C port. Hasselblad tuned triple rear camera unit can be given in this smartphone. This smartphone can have a 50 megapixel primary camera, 50 megapixel ultra-wide camera and 50 megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Sales of foldable smartphones have increased rapidly in the last few years. Many smartphone companies are launching foldable smartphones. South Korea’s Samsung has the highest share in this segment.
