Oppo Launches A5 Pro With 50 Megapixel Primary Camera

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched A5 Pro. MediaTek Dimensity 7300 has been given as the processor in this smartphone. It sports a premium looking design and circular rear camera module. Each of its color variants has a new pattern on the rear panel.

The company has launched A5 Pro in China. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness level of 1,200 nits. It has up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. This smartphone has been made available in White, Purple, Red and Black colors. The price of 8 GB + 256 GB variant of A5 Pro is CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 23,200), 8 GB + 512 GB is priced at CNY 2,199 (approximately Rs 25,600) and 12 GB + 256 GB is priced at CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs 29,100). Oppo has not given information about the launch of this smartphone in the international market.

The dual camera unit of this smartphone has a 50-megapixel primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support. Apart from this, a 2 megapixel monochrome camera has been provided. Its front has a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. It runs on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15. The 6,000 mAh battery of the A5 Pro supports 80 W SUPERVOOC fast charging.

Last month the company launched the Find X8 series in India. The starting price of Find X8 of this series is Rs 69,999 and Find X8 Pro is Rs 99,999. MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 has been provided as processor in these smartphones. The Find X8 sports a triple camera unit with a 50-megapixel Sony LTY-700 primary camera. The Find X8 Pro sports a quad camera unit with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 sensor. Since the launch of this smartphone series in China in October, more than 10 lakh units have been sold. The company introduced the Find X8 series in the international market in November. This is the record of highest sales of this series of smartphones of Oppo in the same period.
