Redmi launched the Redmi A4 5G in November last year and now, it appears that the company is preparing to launch its successor, the alleged Redmi A5. The A4 was introduced by Redmi as its first A-series 5G model. Earlier, 4G model was being added to the A-series. Now, a certification listing has hinted towards the development of the A5. However, it is not currently known whether it will be a 4G variant or will be equipped with 5G connectivity.

The alleged Redmi A5 has also received EEC certification with model number 25028RN03A. Although this model number was earlier believed to be Redmi 14 4G, but it is possible that it may be Redmi A5.
