one on x Post In 2017, tipster @Jukanlosreve has claimed that the alleged Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE could use a flagship processor. It is said to be powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset, which currently powers the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus in select regions including India.
The new claim speaks against previous reports, which suggested that the alleged smartphone could be offered with toned-down internals to keep the cost down. It is expected to hit the market in 2025 as a more affordable variant of the clamshell-style foldable model of the Galaxy Z Flip series.
According to Samsung, it is “exploring ways to reduce some barriers so more customers can experience foldable devices”. In such a situation, rumors about the development of more affordable variants of Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold smartphones may be true to some extent.
Not only this, the tipster also suggests that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 may get the Exynos 2500 chipset. Samsung’s current flagship foldable smartphone lineup is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. This suggests that the South Korean company may be switching to its in-house fabricated chipsets from Qualcomm in some areas.
