What will happen in space?
According to ISRO, it has launched two spacecraft ‘SDX01’ and ‘SDX02’. They will be placed in such an orbit from where there will be a distance of five kilometers between the two spacecraft. After this, the scientists sitting in the control center will reduce the distance of the spacecraft. They will be brought closer by three meters and eventually both the spacecraft will connect to each other. Remember that all this will happen in space. After this, both the spacecraft will also be undocked i.e. separated from each other.
India will become the fourth country in the world
Currently only America, China and Russia have the capability of docking and undocking in space. If India succeeds, it will become the fourth country in the world to do so.
7th January is an important day
It is believed that both spacecraft will proceed for docking around January 7. This achievement is also important for India because it has taken the patent of this technology. That means India is going to do all this completely on its own technology.
Future missions will benefit
Docking and undocking in space is not an easy task. India’s success in this direction will be beneficial for its future missions. India is working on building its own space station, in which docking and undocking is used extensively. SpaDeX mission will help India build a space station.
