The user has shared screenshots of the Uber app on Android and iPhone, showing different prices on both the apps to get from one place to another, with the iPhone showing the higher price. A user (@seriousfunnyguy) shared a post on X. A photo has also been shared in which an Android smartphone (likely: Samsung S-Ultra model) and an iPhone (likely: iPhone 16 series model) have the Uber app open. Both apps have the same pickup and drop locations, but the charges for the service appear to be different, with the iPhone showing the higher fare.

In his post, the user writes, “Same pickup point, destination and time, but get 2 different rates on 2 different phones. Meanwhile, Uber also replied to the user’s post and explained the reason. According to Uber, rates vary depending on the pick-up point, time of arrival at the destination or drop-off location. In its reply, Uber writes, “Several differences affect prices between these two rides. The pick-up point, ETA, and drop-off point on these requests vary, which will result in different fares.
