This market is expected to grow by six percent on a year-on-year basis. The trend of Indian customers has increased towards premium smartphones. In the last few years, the sales of premium segment smartphones of Apple, OnePlus and Samsung have increased rapidly. This report states that customers are now preferring smartphones in the premium and ultra-premium segments. Apple and Samsung are two major companies in this segment.

Demand may be higher for Pro models of Apple’s iPhone series. Apni has increased her manufacturing in the country. This has reduced the cost of Apple’s smartphones. Sales of South Korean smartphone company Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S series may also increase. The company’s upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra may have a 200-megapixel camera. Recently, a leak claimed that a 500-megapixel camera is being developed for Samsung’s Galaxy devices. The company’s Galaxy S25 series can be launched soon.
